The power of youth art lies not only in its ability to critique but also in its capacity to envision new futures. Young artists who are impacted by the issues at the very heart of this project challenge the status quo and contribute to the discourse on creating a shared vision for a community-led, family-centered approach to youth justice. Their creations become catalysts for much needed conversations.
The youth artwork presented here is provided by our partners at Performing Statistics, a national cultural organizing project that uses art to model, imagine and advocate for a world without prisons where young people are fully supported to be free.
